It is an enlightening experience that has the propensity to create a healthy dialog between the couple. The short-term impact is that you learn the skills to have effective dialog. The long-term goal is that this methodology will continue. I enjoyed the virtual camp oppose to the in-person. The reason is that we have kids and I did not have to figure out who will care for them in our absence. Also, there is comfort in being in your own familiar space. It is very helpful and good to know that we are not the only couple experiencing similar problems. The other couples give insight into addressing those issues. Extremely, because there is way more exchange of ideas to overcome the challenges that we experience as a couple.
